The Royal Mail are working on an app which will bring to an end to writing out an address on an envelope and affixing the stamp. The app would generate a postage paid barcoded address label – the cost would be taken by the app too.

Royal Mail are ramping up developments to give the user a more convenient service for both dropping off parcels at enhanced parcel drop off boxes and convenient delivery lockers. The owner of the Royal Mail is a shareholder in Sainsbury’s, so not doubt their outlets will create new convenient locations.
