Yes Response have recently completed an urgent project for one of our design agency clients. Their Cumbria-based client needed to distribute an urgent communication to a wide range of people within a geographical area inviting them to a consultation regarding a planning application for a landfill site.
We were tasked with sourcing the data for all households and businesses within a range of postal code sectors, printing the postcards in four colour process, personalising them and posting out in a timely fashion so that recipients were given advance notice of the public exhibition drop-in session.
All work for this project was completed and the postcards mailed within 5 days. Our client complimented us on our ultimate solution and how we removed their headaches from the project, enabling them to concentrate on other aspects of the campaign.
Urgent problems and the ultimate solution can invariably create lots of headaches, but if you need a project undertaking time-sensitively Yes Response can take those headaches away by effectively and efficiently completing high quality mailings. It is rumoured that the US postal service will be ending deliveries of letters on Saturdays. A worrying thought for those of us that plan the timely delivery of mailings to customers. If this proposal goes through in the US, how long might it be before Royal Mail decides to follow suit here in the UK?
Currently, it is said that the proposal is only applicable to letters and parcels will continue to be delivered on Saturdays. This must have meant a huge sigh of relief for many companies and their customers. It’s difficult to imagine hour growing e-commerce could successfully continue if there were no deliveries on a Saturday. Especially with many consumers eager to receive items over the weekend when they are more likely to be in to receive them.
One of Yes Response’s clients, a chocolate manufacturer, has been busy actively appointing more stockists. We work closely with our client to ensure that when a new retailer signs up, we promptly distribute a retailer starter pack to them. These packs include retail point of sale units and promotional material for the retailer to use in-store, as well as a box that contains an initial supply of each of the 12 different types of chocolate, yummy!

One of our clients is in a great position as a growing company and have recently be able to invest in expanding their sales force, employing several new team members. The additions to the sales team have meant a restructure in the sales force areas, an important change that needed to be communicated to the company’s customers immediately.
The market sector within which the company operates is very hands-on and generally is not desk-based, so it was crucial that these changes were also communicated via a printed mail pack. Customers were sent a personalised letter detailing the changes along with a business card for the applicable contact that the customer could keep to hand and a laser printed colour newsletter updating them on the latest news from the company. The mailing was completed and posted same day to 1,400 contacts.
This mailing highlighted the importance of choosing the correct channels of communication when relaying important information to an audience. If these customers had been contacted solely via email, many would have missed this important information, so a postal mailing was vital.

Yes Response are currently working on a complex mailing communication for one of our clients’ clients, a housing association. The association needs to communicate with all of their housing tenants to inform them of an upcoming annual rent increase. The project involves many different data files being imported, checked and collated into a master mailing file. The printed items include a personalised letter that is hand matched with a further two personalised documents. The type of tenancy determined the variable contents of the communications pack. Attention to detail is key in this project, and it must also be completed in a timely manner to ensure compliance with legislation.
Yes Response can take away the headaches for you in any mailing, no matter how complex. Just contact us on 01889 561 400 or firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss your requirements.
We have just completed a complex and extremely time sensitive Valentine’s Day mailing to 7,000 recipients. Our client, a design agency, had planned and designed a campaign for their university client to communicate with prospective students. They needed the communication to land on Valentine’s Day.
We worked closely with our client and the printer to get all of the 7,000 cards printed, which were name personalised, and then hand matched these with the addressed envelope and mailed out within 4 working days. All the cards needed to arrive with their recipients on Thursday 14th February – if it landed early, or even worse if it arrived late, the impact of this timely mailing would have been lost. As on all projects we complete, we also included a number of seed copies to 4 regional addresses to monitor the timely arrival of the communication.
So if you have a time sensitive and personalised communication to be produced, don’t hesitate to contact us on 01889 561 400 or email@example.com. We promise to remove all the headaches from these projects.
