INTERNET SALES GIVE ROYAL MAIL A BOOST!

Due to the UK’s ever growing online shopping habit, the Royal Mail has enjoyed a 6pc rise in parcel delivery in December last year by delivering 130m parcels.

Since the privatisation of the Royal Mail in 2013 their delivery business has achieved their target. However letter deliveries have continued to decline 3pc in the same period.

Amazon customers have recently expressed their feelings regarding the huge boxes and lots of large wrapping paper used when Amazon send parcels, quite often for only small items.

In 2008 Amazon signed up to the Frustration Free Packaging initiative where it vowed to cut back on excess packaging but it does not seem to have been completely successful. In the UK more than 31 million tonnes of waste is created every year!

AN EXTREMELY BUSY END TO 2015!

Over the last 12 weeks Yes Response have seen activity levels, the volume of projects and intensity of our workloads at their highest levels in almost 3 years and are likely to continue up until December 23rd. Telemarketing, database cleansing, mailings, fulfilment and response handling campaigns have been exceptionally busy for our clients. Within a 48 hour period in the final days of November we collated and mailed out 3000 advent calendars with a time sensitive letterbox landing date.

Yes Response helped raise money for Children In Need on Friday 13th November.  A tombola took place with three prizes, which were drawn mid-afternoon.

In 2015 Yes Response have collectively raised almost £400.00 for many great charitable causes.
